Howdy! As of this summer, the SEAK Lab has moved to Texas A&M University, joining the Aerospace Engineering department. Check out some of our new colleagues’s research! Here is to some new adventures!    

The Director of Earth Observation for the European Space Agency (ESA) has appointed Prof. Selva to the Advisory Committee for Earth Observation (ACEO). This committee is in charge of advising the Director in all strategic matters, including for example the selection of new Earth Observation missions. More information can be found here.

Prof. Selva gave an invited lecture at the MITRE site in McLean, VA.

The paper “Distributed Earth Satellite Systems: What Is Needed to Move Forward ?” by Daniel Selva et al. was accepted for publication in the AIAA Journal of Aerospace Information Systems. Check it out here.

Samalis Santini De Leon has been awarded a NASA NSTRF fellowship to work on Intelligent Data Understanding for Architecture Analysis of Entry, Descent, and Landing Systems. Congratulations Samalis!

The paper titled “Leveraging Logged Intermediate Design Attributes For Improved Knowledge Discovery In Engineering Design”, by Harris Bang and Daniel Selva, has been accepted for publication and presentation at the 2017 IDETC conference.
